The Fall The Movie

The Fall is a short dance film inspired by the Greek tragedies of Elektra and Orestes by Euripides, ancient stories about matricide. The film explores the relationship between daughter and mother through the lens of symbioses, abandonment and revenge, and its bodily sensations of birthing and mourning. It questions themes of guilt and responsibility: did she fall, or was she pushed?
